The Lost Film Fest!

The Lost Film Fest is a travelling program of independent (read: anti-corporate) media based in N.America, hosted by Festival Director, Scott Beiben (Bloodlink Records & Film). The fest spreads the ideas of participatory media, while breaking illusions cast by Hollywood and CNN. In the age of deadly US foreign policy, media consolidation and monopolies, where resources and access are scarse for alternative viewpoints, Lost Film Fest has been said to represent the future of truly independent cinema.

Fancy watching a film about a group of indie film makers who plotted and sabotaged a mainstream film awards ceeremony in the 60s only to have the film confiscated when they were arrested but then have it dug up by a dumpster diver 30 years later and made into a documentary!?

or maybe the episode of jerry springer that Justin Pearson from the Locust appeared on!?

or documentaries about huge protests in from all over the world! a film called "vegan **** "? or a documentary aired in the 80s warning worried parents about the dangers the "punk lifestyle" could have on their teenage children?

If there's one thing you should learn about this forum its; Dont advertise American film festivals. Why? Because they never generate interest here.

Or if they do, I'd like to know. I think this is the first "American film festial!" thread I've seen a reply too.
